Resignation Of A Feather

Recurrent thrashy weather tests his injured endurance

inevitably the latest one cut his weary wing

down with lost spirits, no urge to move

his limbs reluctant to show vivacious animation,

resign and not to embrace anymore this hasty world

why meddle in God’s drafts of status quo?

Begin he envisage his end with forced sleep,

Not cherished but common yet priceless moments

of his loved ones tease him in his dream,

unfulfilled ambitions pierce through his heart

a grain-size drop emanates from the left eye’s valley

a pang of homesickness breaks his rest resolute.

New morning relieves him from earlier fatigue

peruse his broken wing, smile at another one

perhaps, God abandon him on the earth for

His Will was to raise him in the sky infinite

he fell and fell but not to waste His will,

says he, ”fly high till the involuntary death”.
